Apple is planning to shift iPad production from China to India

Apple products are well famous worldwide; however, Apple is planning to shift manufacturing iPhone in India. According to the reports, apple is planning to diversify its manufacturing production of iPhone to India and also looking to remove up to 30% of its manufacturing out of China.

Well, according to the reports, it is heard that Apple is looking for options to bring some of Apple’s iPad production from China to India. But this is heard from internal sources, the official confirmation is still yet to be made. 

Apply announced that they will start manufacturing the newly launched iPhone 14 in the Foxconn Sriperumbudur facility in Chennai, India. the new iPhone 14 introduces new technologies and important safety capabilities in the device. Additionally, Foxconn is not the only company of iPhone 14 manufacturer in India. But recently Pegatron also starts manufacturing the device in India.

By the way, apple already manufactures the iPhones series in India including iPhone 12, 13, and iPhone SE in India. 

As per reports, more than 20,000 employees including the newly joined employees have left the production company a day after violent protests broke out at Foxconn’s Zhengzhou plant in China. The employees had expressed their anger and unhappiness with the working conditions, and later it converted into protests in the past days.

Foxconn had offered to pay newly hired workers 10,000 yuan ($1400) to quit the company. The company also promised to pay 8000 yuan if they agreed to quit Foxconn and another 2000 yuan after they picked up the bus to leave the facility.
