Technology News: Google photons have now launched a new feature that allows users to take screenshots directly from the home screen. The app’s latest or new version on Android now lets users open the screenshot folder directly from their home screen.
You can now access screenshots on Google Photos via the home screenThe app has a shortcut or shows it when the users long-press its icon on your home screen. The new update is the part of Google’s efforts to make the app much easier to navigate than it was earlier.
The new shortcut gives the fastest method yet of gaining access to the screenshot folder without having to go through a bunch of cameras, selfies or other folders, or pet collections first. Android Police has reported that the feature is available in the app Google photos app version 5.97 and it allows users to find the screenshots faster via a shortcut.
For those, who do not know or are unaware of this thing, the icons on home screens come up with a separate long-press menu that has the particular setting for the app. For example, if you long press on the phone’s app it will show you the list of recently dialed numbers, contact numbers, call logs, search numbers, and more same as if you long press on the camera’s icon or app it will show the shooting modes. So similarly, now Google photos show a new option of, View screenshots, along with I am feeling lucky and free up space.

● A third option is, I’m feeling lucky, which allows you to search for specific snaps based on location. The screenshot folder is opened by clicking on the particular shortcut.
Google has also started rolling out the new information for photos also, it will show the user’s amount of data that photos are consuming out of your 15GB cloud storage.
