Finland has been named the Happiest nation yet again. For the fifth time in a row at the 10th edition of the worlds happiest report Finland has been named the Happiest country in the world. This report is completly bases people perpective of Happiness and also the based on the economic and social data. While finland named as the most happiest nation Afghanistan named the least happiest nation.

Some of the countries likes Serbia, Bulgeria and Romania made rapid strides in the wellbeing while lebanon, Venezuela and Afghaniztan recorded huge drops i the world happiness report.

This world Happiness report is based on an average of data over three year perios. Rankings are based on a score on a scale of zero to 10. This latest edition of the report was completed before the Russian invasion of Ukraine and so the war outcomes didnot influence in this current report.

The United states of America has climed 3 places and stands at 16th position while frans listed in the 20th place which is the countries highest ranking till date. Frrom 139the position in the last report India better 3 places and stood at 136th position.

Yet again Nothern Europeans dominated the list with Danes  second behind the Finns, followed by the Icelandic, the Swiss and the Dutch.

The happiness report also takes personal sense of wellbeing into account. The report also considers GDP, Social support along with personal freedom and The amount of corruption.

In the latest edition of the report, the authors also taken data from social media to compare people’s emotions before and after the corona pandemic and it is found that there is strong increase in anxiety and sadness  in about 18 countries but a also fall in feelings of anger.
